iWelcome Week celebrates incoming Informatics, MLIS, º£½ÇÂÛ̳ and Ph.D. students and invites them to connect with all that our iSchool community has to offer. Don't forget to tag your posts and photos with !

Monday, Sept. 18

The iSchool International Graduate Student Orientation is from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. in Odegaard Library, Room 220. The combined residential and online MLIS orientation is from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. in HUB 211. An º£½ÇÂÛ̳ bowling social will be held from noon to 2 p.m. in the HUB games area.

Tuesday, Sept. 19

The All iSchool Welcome, open to iSchool students, faculty and staff only, is from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in Kane Hall, Room 120. Online MLIS workshops will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. in MGH 241, while residential MLIS workshops will be from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. in OUGL 220. Full-time º£½ÇÂÛ̳ student orientation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Intellectual House. Informatics orientation is from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in JHN 102, and an Informatics bowling social follows from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the HUB games area.

Wednesday, Sept. 20

Online MLIS workshops will be held from 8:30 a.m. to noon in MGH 231. º£½ÇÂÛ̳ Career Prep Day is 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in MGH 241. The All iSchool Fair is from 1 to 2:30 p.m. in the Mary Gates Hall Commons.

Thursday, Sept. 21, and Friday, Sept. 22

Residential MLIS, º£½ÇÂÛ̳ and Ph.D. tech workshops will be held from 8:30 a.m. to noon and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. in MGH 334, with an additional evening session on Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. A career prep session, Resume and Cover Letter Basics, will be held Friday from 12:30 to 1:20 p.m. in BLD 070. (No mandatory events are scheduled on Thursday or Friday due to Rosh Hashanah.)

Monday, Sept. 25

Residential MLIS and º£½ÇÂÛ̳ tech workshops continue from 8:30 a.m. to noon in MGH 334. Ph.D. orientation is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in BLD 070. Mid-career º£½ÇÂÛ̳ orientation is from 4 to 7 p.m. in BLD 070. Mid-career º£½ÇÂÛ̳ tech workshops follow from 6 to 9:30 p.m. in MGH 334.

Tuesday, Sept. 26

A career session, Advanced Resume Workshop, is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. to 1:20 p.m. in BLD 070. 

Wednesday, Sept. 27

Autumn quarter begins.
